Average pizza. Lacklustre beer selection. Friendly staff. Great location on the beachfront strip. Not a bad spot but I wouldn't rush back anytime soon…

Liked the draft beer collection here…it a cool hangout place for the beer and pizza…you have vegetarian option for the veggie goers…But still the beer option makes the best option for the place to go and enjoy the displays or the music…Cool hangouts for the people to have jam session for any kind of discussion, even the cocktails looks good…
Entree garlic bread was dry, came out with the mains. The steak was undercooked, asked for medium got almost rare. Steak should be perfect each and everytime…its a steakhouse isnt it!? They replaced the meal, steak cooked properly but had to eat it on my own because the rest of the table had finished by then.
A different charm all together in a street full of bars and restaurants. If you are taking a stroll down the Esplanade the chances of missing this restaurant out is scanty. What differentiates this place is its ambience. Such calmness in a crowd is rare to find. Kudos to the team, they made us a vegetarian pasta even though its not there in their menu. Its appreciated.Music manages to give you the extra kick. Thats all you need.Keep munching!!Ciao!!
This place has charm and character and is probably one of the best places (if not the best place) to relax and chill along the Esplanade, also handily close to the lagoon. Not sure what is wrong with all the other reviewers, they are all obviously expecting some kind of Michelin starred degustation dinner….? Honestly. Rattle & Hum caters for people looking to relax and have fun, with a great layout inside, different areas to sit, outdoor area at the back and on the road for people watching, all encompassed in a stylish old style interior with pool tables and bar areas. The serving team are fresh faced, conscientious and helpful and my avocado and calamari salad one of the tastiests salads I’ve had in a fair while. No visit to Cairns is complete without a stop in at Rattle & Hum. (BTW the men’s see-thru urinal always cracks me up :-))…
Went for a wood fired pizza… Literally the worst pizza I have ever had. The base was like cardboard. Good location and nice place to drink tho.
Absolutely terrible. We came at 11:30am very quiet with plenty of staff around only to have very poor service and incompetent bar staff. Was charged $27 for a BFK coffee!! And the bar could not even make a Bloody Mary. Food we got the salt and pepper squid which was yummy and 3 pizzas. First pizza a classic Hawaiian (hold the ham with extra pineapple came with a surcharge for the extra pineapple) the fire breather was spicy but not in a good chilli way more in a dump a shit-ton of cayenne pepper powder on it. My salmon pizza with extra feta came with two microscopic crumbs of feta and was way way too salty. Avoid like the plague.
On the upside there’s cold beer and beer battered chips. On the downside, the schnitzel was average, only one of the many sauces offered was available and the rosemary gravy, was like a gravy flavoured water. The bar service was accommodating and friendly.. The meals service was gruff and made me feel uncomfortable.
