I was just casually walking around the market when a delicious aroma hit me out of nowhere, a quick turn around and I was introduced to Spicy Bite. Being in Cairns, Australia one might ideally go for other cuisines and not something which we normally eat back home, in our country. However the Desi in me just couldn’t resist and I parked myself and chose to sit outside. Whilst we were deciding what to order, i was enjoying the hindi music playing inside.The menu was elaborate and had a lot to offer. We opted for Tandoori Prawns to begin with and Chicken Lababdar and Garlic Naan.My gut said the food would be lovely and oh boy, it was every bit of that! From the perfectly marinated and cooked prawns to the main course, so well balanced, that would easily give some restaurants in India a run for their money, it was a perfect meal to end the day. For those of you who would want to try Indian food in Cairns, include this in your list right away!(For the adventurous souls they have a Crocodile Masala gravy dish listed in their ‘Specials’.)
