Had quick dinner at this place last Thursday night. Due to the renovation in the Sunnybank Hills Shopping Centre at the food court, there is not much choice so gave it a go. Looked at their menu and decided to go for the Pork Ramen. Although it is not the first time that I had ramen at Korean eatery (Ramen Story is one of the example), I still wondered if they made a good one in the food court. Besides the ramen, I placed an extra order of fried chicken wings to have while I was waiting for the noodle. Well, the chicken wings tasted not bad and they were very juicy with crispy batter. After around 10 minutes, the ramen was on the table. By the look of it, I could not see many pieces of pork in the soup; however, I was surprised to see the thick cut Char Shiu when I turned over the noodle. I loved the thick-cut slices of pork, they were tendered with a little bit of fat attached, which was not greasy. In addition to the delicious broth, the ramen was purely a surprise to me.

The hot stone beef rice I got was pretty good for the price. It seems little smaller than a regular hot stone pot at a Korean restaurant but I’m happy with it cause I can never really finish a larger one. For 10.50 that’s pretty decent. Flavor is good.I can’t vouch for the Japanese items on the menu. They don’t look as good. The store appears to be run by Koreans.I was kinda interested in their twisty potato cause I think it was $2 and usually it’s like $5. instagram.com
First time here. Stingy sized chicken pieces the width of a car key on the chicken curry bowl. Bowl was 3/4 full with rice. For 8.90 I might as well go home and cook for 4 people for that price. Staff apparently are selective with who they’re friendly with. I’m asian as well but was never greeted in a friendly way while others were.
A great dine-in/takeaway in the Sunnybank Hills shopping town. They opened a few months ago and I’ve visited a few times for takeaway. I love their food and the service is always friendly (the woman at the counter remembered us from another restaurant). The prices are cheap as well but I think I possibly recall them having a ten dollar minimum on eftpos so it’s a good opportunity to order more food. It’s also by itself near the Kmart and at the other side from the foodcourt so it’s quiet but there’s plenty of tables for when it does get busy around peak times. I’m also a fan of the art on their adorable udon takeaway bowls.
