Nothing fancy, simple honest food. Got the open grill/melt with ham, pineapple and cheese + chips. Price is OK.Pretty busy on weekday lunch with senior citizens. Looks like it might be run by Chinese.Other orders on our table was fish burger and omelette.Everyone was happy with their meals .. But then no standoutsHigh chairs available. instagram.com
The service was okay. The atmosphere of the cafe is nice – not loud and quite spacious. The nachos I ordered was great. Would definitely recommend coming here if you want to take a break from shopping around!
Great value. Clean. Jack’s is in a medium sized shopping centre. The cafe is fairly large with plenty of seating and they always have a few copies of the days newspaper. Friendly staff nice service, and tasty meals that are much larger and much cheaper than nearly any other cafe in Brisbane. Impressed.
I usually come here for breakfast and the food is good. Nothing really changes here but its nice to know what you can expect. The place is clean and tidy with good service from the team.
Jack’s Cafe looks like it’s been around for a long time with aged tables and a basic design. It has a large amount of space on the top floor of the Sunnybank Hills shopping centre and the tables have a panoramic view of the entire space. We ordered and sat at a table on the lower setting. The wait wasn’t too long for own meals and then we dug in. The eggs were good and very filling but I ended up cutting a lot of the sauce off the top to an amount that suited the eggs and I enjoyed but it ended up being a good dipping for my partners meal. The staff are friendly and it’s a relaxed cafe with tasty food. It’s perfect if you want a nice and cheap breakfast or lunch.
The food is mediocre for a mediocre price. Staff are nice. I’ve been here three times and the food is average for me. I’ve had their eggs benny’s here and I wasn’t amazed but I wasn’t disappointed either. This place stacks in the middle for me. Their cafe lattes are tasty though.
Every time I walked past I always see customer inside, but I wasn’t too interested to walk in because of the old and dull decorations. Until today, I decided to give it a go. It proved me wrong and don’t ever judge on appearance! The breakfast is very tasty and far better than coffee club next store, and I dare to say it even better than some of the cafe in west end area. And most importantly, it is good value for money (most of the item is below $15, some even included coffee). The only thing I could pick on is the coffee, they doesn’t do latte art. But for that price, I would definitely come back more often!!!
