A small restaurant serving up authentic East-Malaysian food in Calamvale. If you’re craving some east-Malaysian cuisine, this is the restaurant for you! Kitchen Inn serves up some of the best kolo mee and is a must try for this restaurant. If you’re visiting for lunch on a weekday there is a lunch menu that offers some of their dishes for only $9.90. For that price, the meal is such a steal! The kolo mee is authentic with all the right flavours – this dish really hits home if you’re from east-Malaysian region. The noodles are hand-made and all the flavours perfectly complement all the ingredients. The nasi lemak is the curry version (rather than the fried chicken) but is still just as delicious. The ikan bilis (small fried fish) are very crispy and add to the overall appeal of this dish. The crispy chicken with rice along with the mayonnaise chicken are very similar. The dishes are served with a [super crispy] fried chicken with an egg, salad and rice (the difference is the sauce). These dishes cater much more to a Western palate but are still very tasty! If you’ve been searching for some delicious east-Malaysian food with its roots to Malaysia; search no further, Kitchen Inn is the place to visit!

I have been to this place a few times & can say its not that bad for something quick & easy. If you have time. Make the trip to Market Square Sunnybank. You will find the same dishes with a little more effort.

Amazing authentic Malaysian cuisine! Has been my daily go-to restaurant for quite a while now aside from their famous homemade noodle, I would totally recommend their fish fillet noodle soup and curry fish head!

I like the clean dining environment here. The service was prompt and very friendly too. We had kampura, kolo mee and pork dumplings and they all tasted great. The noodles were cooked perfectly, not too soft nor too dry. The pink lychee drink was great too.

Have only gotten takeaway from here for Sunday lunches if we have church bible study nearby. The first few times the Kampua and Kolo Mee have been reasonable but the last time I ordered the Kampua Special with Egg wasn’t as good. Not sure if change of owners but might consider other options first.

Just bought a take away.. ordered kampua large noodles. Taste so good..but all noodles!!!! Very small amount of bbq pork!!! Not balance at all!!! Asked foe green chilli. 30 cents for container.. Oh well.. joking!!!!!the tiniest container !! Maybe only can fit 3 chillies. Lol.
