Probably the best pizza around. You can taste the quality and freshness from the toppings down to the base. Honestly, I wouldnt dine anywhere else for pizza knowing PitStop Pizza is around.
We used to frequent this shop when it was located in West End and then visited it after it relocated to Camp Hill.To our taste, they were some of the best pizzas in Brisbane, but definitely on the heavy side, so be prepared to feel quite ‘full’ after you’ve had your fill.Unfortunately the prices just kept going up, but the sizes are pretty reasonable. Their ‘large’ is not at all a ‘domino’s large’, it is a fair bit more; they tend to be pretty generous with the toppings as well; for some a single Large may be good for two people. The calzones are just as good, if not even more filling!Sadly though, we didn’t feel welcome in their new store; despite having more workers and having almost no customers at the time the owner didn’t allow us to get our usual serving as apparently they don’t do ‘half/half’ orders.. surprising considering it’s a 20+ dollar pizza and that it was literally what we had every time we visited at West End.. especially considering it takes no time and little effort, but I guess you have to do what your wife tells you sometimes, even if it costs you a loyal customer!Next time, consider not telling the cook not to do it in front of said customers, especially when he seems happy to change the order for them.
We live locally so have eaten here a few times, the bases, sauces and toppings are really fresh and made with great care! Love their menu’s variety too. This review is for a large order of 55 pizzas for a conference I organised for 100 people – the owner Milan was a pleasure to deal with and had everything delivered right on time, warm and tasting great – no mean feat when the venue is 5kms from his restaurant and it’s a big order. Very happy customers all round last night, thank you!
Delicious and plentiful vegan pizza offerings and my son loves the vegetarian options too. Sometimes the pizzas could handle a little more cooking, but the flavour is always spot on. I only wish I lived closer!
Some of the best pizza I’ve had in Australia. Enough but not too many toppings, the base nice and crispy. Th Baclava was nice also even though I’m not a sweet tooth
Yuuuuuuuuum! We get this pizza whenever we feel like treating ourselves. Also the burek is great. Sad that they moved away from west end but I certainly don’t mind a small drive to get some great pizza!
Tasty, full of toppings and good sized, not bad for a local place. Would of benefited from a few more minutes in the oven – base & toppings a little soft
