Do you like quality? Do you like quantity? Here you can have both & eat your cake (sorry, brownie) too. And its very well priced to boot. Yes way.My brunch choice was eggs bene with bacon & it was wicked nice. Creamy hollandaise, thick layers of salty bacon, turkish bread and perfectly poached eggs. I loved that the two eggs each had their own piece of bread, rather than one sad little slice which is more the norm these days. So generous! Husbandios spicy mince lived up to its name with fresh chilli pieces, pops of peas & corn, & topped with another set of textbook poached eggs which oozed their yolky goodness into the mix. A tasty carbless option & another substantial serve. Fast, friendly service and fond farewells feel like youve dined with family in this eclectic, unique, homely cafe. Can see why the ever amazing Mandy Bernadette & MB recommend it so highly.

Those Monday Moments start again – as I travel to Murrerie to collect stock for work, I begin to sense my stomach making a signal. The grumbling starts…I have no idea how I missed this cafe so many times… after reading all the great reviews, I couldn’t wait to get inside and devour into some nice food and coffee. It was 9:45am and a few tables were already occupied by diners enjoying their morning cuppa.To feed my hunger, I ordered the Eggs Benedict w/ Bacon and a Mocha coffee. My caffeine fix came out shortly, and it was divine! Served hot in a tall cup, consisting well-balanced coffee and chocolate flavours. I could possibly grab another shot next time, but very good either way! The Eggs Benedicts w/ Bacon makes its arrival to my table. Straight away I took that mandatory photo and begin cutting into those poached eggs. Oh my, the yolks ran beautifully, it was eggcellent!! The Bacon was cooked to perfection, thick slices and served with a generous portion (the slightly crispy part on the fatty area was a big -thumbs up- !!) DELICIOUS!!! Turkish bread was lightly toasted, just the way I prefer it to be presented Polite and friendly staff :)Thank you, Carport Cafe!!
Love this homely cafe! The owners are so friendly & are constantly finding ways to make the cafe more convenient & enjoyable. The food is fresh & quick to come out 🙂
The temptation from those photos taken by the Briabane Zo-mates at their gathering brunch pushed me to have brekkie at this caf last Sunday morning. Honestly, I am not a big eater who could only accommodate a light brekkie in the morning. However, the lure from those photos really made me ordering the Carport Breakfast and a flat white. Decision was correct with the spectacular contentsincluding two poached eggs sitting on the sourdough, premium grade bacons, sausage, spinach, lots of mushroom and tomato relish. I did try my best but still had to leave the sourdough behind, otherwise I would definitely end up with stomachache for the whole day. Thank you for the recommendation from Zo-mates. Cheers!
Carport is a lovely hidden gem that we walk to regularly. The food and service is consistent and they have a great selection of different breakfasts. I couldn’t recommend this place more 🙂
