We love this place for lunch and have visited several times this year. By far the best freshest authentic Italian pasta we’ve ever had in Brisbane, complemented by very tasty sauces. Friendly knowledgeable staff, fast service and great prices. Can’t think of anywhere else you will find a huge bowl of pasta freshly made on the premises for just $10! Finish off with their really good coffee and you won’t be disappointed.
Explored this eatery early this morning. Nice set-up and makes you feel warm and comfy. The owner was very friendly, no wonder he had so many regulars came in for take-away coffee. I was the first diner to taste the pasta today and I ordered the Ham & Mushroom Fettuccini off the menu for Thursday. Of course, a regular cup of flat white will be the a-must order. It took about 10 minutes then the lady chef brought me the freshly made pasta. Wow, it was spread with heaps of parmesan cheese on the top. Pasta was, as the name of the eatery, al dente. Sauce was just thick enough but not too creamy with lots of mushroom and shredded ham. Together with the well strong coffee with the coffee Mio brew that made the brekkie the best of the best. Have a chat with the owner and realise that they have been manufacturing pasta over the last 38 years. First 35 years was at the West End Market and then moved to the Melbourne street of West End. Finally, they moved to the current spot near home. Don’t worry, the owner has passed his skill to his daughter andthe second generation will continuously serves Brisbane pasta-lovers. Honestly, they deserve full marks.
Amazing salmon fettuccini. Great coffee. Always come back for more and more. Best tasting pasta in Brisbane. The tiramisu is also amazing and a must try.
