Explored this cafe early this month. I guess this cafe was a previous spot of fast food such as KFC or Hungry Jack because the lay-out is exactly like those outlets and so as the trading style. Walked in and found the counter was busy at taking drive-thru orders while some staff was looking after the dine-in customers. Read the menu and found they offer steak brekkie that reminded me the experience of steak salad at Little Dreamer of Calamvale so gave it a go. Actually, it did not take a long time to have my food and drink on the table. First sip of coffee gave me a fast food coffee feeling and so as the steak brekkie. Portion was generous but I don’t like to have steak in well done. Overall, I have a rush feeling instead of relaxing for this brekkie. A little bit disappointed.
Came here for breakfast after parkrun. Crazy busy but the staff were extremely friendly and the food was great. Boyfriend had breakfast special and smoothie and I had perfectly poached eggs. Would come back here again.
My wife and I have been going to wicked brew for a few years now. Coffee is always great and the breakfast is very nice and affordable. We go every Saturday after parkrun. Staff are always polite.
Love love love this place. Food, coffee and staff are all amazing. I don’t know where Diana ^ went but I don’t think it’s here! Recommend Wicked Brew to all my friends and I am a daily (sometimes more than once) regular!
Wicked Bean is a popular local spot, it’s tucked away in a slightly daggy old KFC building and while the decor is a bit tired the line up of people waiting to order coffee and breakfast indicated strongly that appearances can definitely be deceiving. There is an extensive breakfast, lunch and drinks menu on offer and I chose the bircher museli which was delicious and creamy and beautifully arranged. My companion ordered the mushrooms on toast and her request for gluten free was met with a cheerful, can do attitilude. Don’t let the exterior put you off, this one is worth investigating.
