We entered really excited to come to this place after seeing all the good reviews online. However, once we turned up we were soon disappointed by the service not even 15mins and we were already back out the door. We entered as I asked the waiter for three seats she paused and had to interrupt one of her fellow waiters (who was currently serving another customer) as to whether there was enough room. Eventually she said we could sit anywhere and we sat down (almost every table was empty – our first red flag). We selected our items we wanted from the menu, closed our menus and waited. It wasn’t busy at all for a Wednesday night so it was surprising to us that no waiter was around to serve us. Eventually my sister had to get up and look for someone but the waiter walked right by her to the kitchen. The other waiter came out of the kitchen to go and look at the books at the front of house completely oblivious to the stares and waves for service we were giving her. After 15mins we decided to leave and only then did the waiter notice us. Very disappointed.
Something has gone wrong at Pancho’s!We have been longtime customers of Panchos, going there for over 15 years. We order the same pizza every single time with a garlic bread.Usually things are fantastic – we have in all of this time never ever have had any complaints. In fact we moved 20 minutes away and we still ordered and drove to Pancho’s for our dinner.BUT something has gone wrong! The last three orders that we have had have been vastly different to their usual quality.The pizza bases have been soggy, one half of the pizza seems well cooked the other side not, there is some cheese on one side but not much on the other. The garlic bread tonight was like a canyon with this hard type of cheese inside. It is just not anything like the quality that we have enjoyed in the past.We are really disappointed as the quality changed dramatically, has there been a change of ownership?
Owner has lost touch with what customer service is. If the food is awful, admit it, fix it, and offer a refund. Use reviews in a positive way and improve.
We had Delivery from Panchos. On the positive side Delivery was quick (only 30 minutes). However food was below average, in particular the Caesar salad. We paid $20 for soggy lettuce, not much bacon or Parmesan and worst part we ordered it with chicken and it turned up without it. Dressing tasted like it was from a bottle. Pizza ok, just not memorable
Very slow delivery after order (an hour and a half) and order was a bit bland when it arrived. Doubt I would try out again for the $80 it cost for three dishes.
We only had a take away pizza at Panchos & found everything to be OK. Nothing outstanding, but fillings were generous & fresh & the service was fine, we were not waiting long
Pancho’s is a bit of a Bulimba institution as it’s been around for 30 years.They do pizza’s which are filling and have lots of toppings. Yes the bay bread is a goer. The food is very decent and the pastas will leave you feeling satisfied. Now there is a bar which I’ve been to a few times under private booking. Support this local honest business.
