Chips and gravy are the best….Chicken was undercooked and not much taste and no stuffing and the battered flake was rubbery and not edible
The best chips in brisbane. Love this place – crowd pleaser when I need to bring something to a morning tea – the chips stay hot and crispy all the way back to manly west as well!! and they are not over-coated in salt (re last review – I am a regular customer and its’ not like this normally). nice to support a local business as well rather than the big internationals.
Dont waste your money. Chicken is dry, unseasoned, unstuffed and horribly overpriced! If you like your chips smothered in horrendously bright yellow chicken salt without asking if you’d like said salt then go ahead. Not worth a return visit – you’d be better off getting a chook from the supermarket

My partner and I love this place! Great food, best hot chips and bbq chicken, friendly staff only dislike is the few times we have gotten burgers the buns have been on their way to stale other than that the food is excellent.
Why is there no real reviews online for this horrid place. Ok my mistake was warned but still went, the most overpriced seafood takeaway apart from the ekka or Suncorp stadium. For 2 cod $13.00 small chips $3.20. And both were were way below average any corner store would do cheaper fish and chips. But I think its the whole complex – foodworks was the worst I have seen, Crusty Devil Bakery was overpriced. They all survive due to location I feel sorry for locals who have no choice!
Ive been going to this store since i was young living with my parents. over 10yrs later with my own little family and im still going there. 🙂 its a great store the food is always great and always been treated nicely.
