For a food court, the pho soup here is sensational! The broth is so tasty with just the right balance of flavours. Ingredients are fresh and servings generous. Would happily return!
So, so, so delicious!! Best vegetarian Vietnamese food I’ve had since moving back from Vietnam. Vege bahn mi & shiitake rice paper roll are personal favourites. Would eat here every day if I could. Please open more stores
Very decent Vietnamese for a food court! I was pleasantly surprised to find they offer Vietnamese Chicken Curry with French Baguette (or Rice is another option). It’s quite hard to find this dish anywhere. The baguette was what i expected, fresh, crunchy on outside, soft on inside. The spice level was just right, slight kick without a challenge. The curry had been stewed for a while, everything was soft and flavoursome. Only gripe would be perhaps the chicken was a little overdone.Pretty good value for $8.90 instagram.com
If you’re shopping in Westfield Carindale and don’t know what to have for lunch, please give this place a try !! It’s located in the upper level food court. They sell rice paper rolls, salads, wraps and have pho, rice meals, and banh mi (baguette) made to order ! The food is so tasty here I’m not even joking, for the price and portion that you get, it’s so worth it. I have personally tried the rice paper rolls (I’m not a fan of rice paper rolls) but these taste great ! The meat is always so well seasoned! Try the baguette, I always get the lemon grass pork baguette and it’s absolutely delicious !! If you’re up for a small snack, try the wraps they are only $3.90. The rice meals ($8.90) are the best, they come with rice, a lot of meat (Yes!!!) , pickled vegetables and cucumber on the side and to top it off, they give you a fried egg to go with your meal, the egg is normally fried half well done so when you cut into it the egg yolk oozes out into the rice. My partner tried their pho and said its soso but everything else we have tried we loved ! It’s rare to find good food in a shopping centre food court so give it a try you won’t be disappointed.
It’s cheap and cheerful The flavours are not full on but it’s acceptable. I was happy they offered vegetarian rice paper rolls, which were light & refreshing. My hubby’s bahn was bland & lacked flavour. The longan drink was a nice choice though the ice was too clumpy. Some may find it a bit bland but I like they didn’t fill 1/3 cup full of syrup. It’s okay for food court food, just don’t expect too much from it.
Bring a devotee of Vietnamese food, I was jumping with excitement to try this new outlet conveniently situated in the Westfield food court. Unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed. The pho was lacking in depth and quality. The iced coffee was comprised of an expresso, with the other 75% being a solid block of ice.
