I’m so glad I live in such close proximity to this place. The waffles are to die for and the breakfast menu is extensive and affordable. Such friendly service, a breath of fresh air compared to other cafes in the area. I’m slowly working my way through all the freak shakes, each one has failed to disappoint so far
Great little cafe hidden away in Carseldine. This place prides itself on its waffles, pancakes and crepes. I have been meaning to try this place for quite some time and finally managed to go. I was very pleased and enjoyed every bite. The service was friendly and prompt. The portions are significant and definitely value for money. The crepes were delicious and packed with fresh ingredients. The waffles were deliciously crunchy and didnt disappoint, one more per serving however would be even better! All in all, a lovely family friendly cafe.
Went here today for lunch had the big brekky, So full, great size serving for the price. Opted to go with the waffle over the pancakes and it was a great choice. Scrambled eggs were light and fluffy which is a plus for me. Great Merlo coffee as well. Service was fast and friendly. Going to be a regular destination for me
My family went here on the weekend as it had been suggested by a friend that we should come and try it out. Great menu which offers breakfast, lunch and dessert! My kids loved their pancakes from the kids menu. You get to choose 2 different toppings for the price. They shared one of their freakshakes, the malteser one. It was the best thing the kids have seen. I had the chicken and bacon crepe which was to die for, loved what they have added to the mushrooms so tasty. Staff were very friendly and wasn’t too expensive like other cafes in the area. Definitely be back!
Disappointing to see the waffles come out of plastic packets, not sure you can claim to make gourmet waffles if you don’t actually make the waffles. Coffee was really good though.
We have tried Rofl Wafl a few times now, and enjoyed it every time. Pancakes are good, and waffles are a little too sugary for our taste (but delicious none the less). The real standout was the last visit where we tried the savoury crepe menu, and it was very delicious. I have rated 4 as the service can be slow once you’ve ordered, but the staff and food are good!
I decided to go to rofl wafl today after looking for a local brunch spot that I hadn’t tried yet. It is a little difficult to find at first if you aren’t familiar with Carseldine Central but I quickly discovered it was down a little side strip where a number of new restaurants appear to be opening. The service was efficient and the cafe has cold table water upon request which is always a bonus for me! I ordered the cookies & cream wafl and really enjoyed it. I thought the elements would be overwhelmingly sweet but I was surprised to find that this was not the case. The Cadbury drizzle was a nice addition as well as the vanilla bean ice cream. My friend who joined me throughly enjoyed their meal as well and overall it was a very pleasant experience!
