Great food good service in a quirky spot. We went on a very hot morning. Had the pork bene and the wagu spaghetti thing. Both were yummy. One side of the restaurant is air conditioned and one side isnt. We waited a little while to get our food, however its a new restaurant and it was very busy. The owner came over and checked on us and gave us a couple of small juices to keep us going. I like restaurants like this.

This new Cafe/Bar is owned by a lovely team who have moved up from Melbourne. Seeing that it quietly opened just over a week ago, favourite daughter & I decided to try it out for lunch. What used to be an Italian restaurant in Marshall Lane, is now a vibrant new cafe with a liquor licence. Kenmore is becoming trendy!!The theme of the cafe is based on quotes/phrases made popular by William Shakespeare. The decor is monochromatic and very tastefully simple. Piped music was playing very quietly in the back ground which was a very nice touch. I was surprised to see this place was already making an impact with about 50% of the inside seating area taken up at 2pm on a Wednesday, as well as others ordering coffees at the front counter. Once seated, water and menus were placed promptly by a smiling and friendly waitress. The menu had interesting choices but was so excited to see they offered quite an extensive all day breakfast menu!! The lunch menu is on the small size, but I guess its very early days for this place.I decided to stick to the Avo on Sourdough with a large flat white and Daughter had the pork belly burger with a large cappuccino.Meals and coffees arrived promptly and very impressed by the presentation of the meals. Instead of fries with the burger, was crispy baby chat potatoes that were seasoned and served in the obligatory wire basket. The whipped feta on tha Avo was piped in 3 little peaks on one side of the plate. Certainly different!!But were we happy with the taste of the food?? Omg..YES!! The burger was so tasty as was the Avo on toast. The coffee was strong and smooth too.Upon leaving, the owner advised that from 10th January they will be opening for evening drinks and dinner. So glad this place is less than 5 minutes away from home. I am so glad these Melburnians decided to set up camp in Kenmore!

Went for lunch today- food order took around 25 minutes although restaurant was less than half full. Crab omelette was flat and not fluffy at all. Crab risotto was nice but accompanying chilli toast was way to strong and overpowered the crab. Around 16 options for all day breakfast but only 6 options in lunch menu. We wont be going back.
