Really disappointing when you order a takeaway curry, pay good money for it and you get home and the container is only half full of curry and the other side is full of uncooked carrot and cabbage. I don’t recall ordering a half serve….
Worst Thai Food Ever!. Last night our Family take away dinner was very very dissapointing. We had satay chicken, it was a very rubbery and flavourless cut of chicken, in fact resembled an old eraser in texture; no flavour and a tiny tiny amount of satay sauce to serve. Next coconut prawns, coated in gluggy thick batter and shredded coconut – we were starting to worry about the main courses – with justification. The Penang chicken was flavourless and the chicken like leather. Sweet and sour chicken – poor flavour and chicken as tender as a car tyre. The beef larb was under welming and lacked any punch flavour. Lastly the beef salad was bland in flavour and a very ordinary cut of beef. We will never order a take away from here again. 75% of the food was thrown out, and considering we spent $90.00 – this was a waste of money and unfortunately left us hungry.V & G
Authentic Thai this is not. The food was generally tasty but has been localised to the point of being unidentifiable as Thai. i.e. everything was sweet even when we had asked the waiter specifically to make it like the Thais do! The curry just seems to be coconut milk with a smidgen of curry paste. It was so pale that I could hardly taste the curry in it and it was very sweet. Same with the pad thai. Too sweet. The fried kuay teow was bland. It was as if the chef had forgotten to put in salt. The larb was however the saving grace. The ingredients are fresh but it’s just that it is not Thai food if that’s what you’e expecting to eat.
Service was great and the food was generous and delicious. Tamarind Fish and Calamari Rings were both terrific.
Lovely staff, great food. Do yourself a favour and try the coconut rice- amazing!
REALLY GOOD Thai food. This restaurant ties me to living in Chapel Hill. Before finding this place I used to cook my own Thai having done 22 nights of training at NSW TAFE.This place made me give up. Far too good. Nice ambience. Economical and food to dine for ;)Try the red thai chicken or the panang beef. BYO wine. Wine shop 2 doors away. Ice cream shop 3 doors away. Easy parking. Heaven!
Simply Delicious. I have been to this place many, many times over the last few years with my family and have never been disappointed. The yellow chicken curry is simply the best and no where I have tried in Brisbane has beaten it. I’ve been to thailand three times and the food from here is very similar but probably even more delicious then most of the food places I went to when in Thailand. All the entrees are delicious also, I was going to rule out a few good entrees but i can’t because i love them all. The wait isn’t that long, just order some tasty entrees and your main will be there before you know it. I have never found the service rude or lacking. I definitely recommend people going here.
