Food and drinks were amazing! I ordered a black coffee which came in a plunger and surprisingly, tasted really good and I didnt even need to add sugar. Staff were friendly and were happy to change a menu option to vegetarian for me. Sweet potato fries were also delicious. Great for a place to bring you friends to snack and chill.
Hubby and I decided to try this local drinking hole one weekend arvo around 4pm before he had to fly back to Sydney.It was a coolish day and too cold to sit in the outdoor area.We decided to sit in the area near the kitchen, but all the windows were wide open and the chilly breeze was blowing straight through and we were cold. So we were happy to move to the front bar.There were only two other guys in the front bar area and they seemed to be settled in for the afternoon and having a good time. Talking and laughing so very loud, we couldn’t here ourselves think. I don’t know how that room would go with even more people in there. The noise seemed to bounce off the walls. Maybe because there was only us and them in there?We finished our drinks and left.I love the mural on the wall! I really wanted to love this place as its so close to home.Maybe we caught it on a bad day with the cool weather, but it just didn’t do it for us. Maybe we will try again one day.
