We decided to give this place a go as it’s local, hoping for a ‘Pig and Whistle’ kind of experience. We walked in, there was no one to greet us. So we kept walking, arrived at an area that looked like a bar, still no one to greet us, music was so loud we could barely think, turned around and left unimpressed.
Kenmore tavern is a bit of a miss. The main meals are overpriced for the quality of the food. I felt like I was paying premium amounts for average pub-type food. The entrees are also so small so if you are going to order an entree as a small meal, I would get two, because the mains in comparison jump up dramatically in size. I wouldnt come here again as the wait (long) and prices dont make the average served meals worth it.
Love this place! The chicken parmigiana is a must try! It has great flavour and comes with a generous side of chips (which are not under the chicken meaning they do not go soggy!) and a fresh side salad! The drinks are also very tasty. Lines at very long as there is no table service, however staff are attentive. The setting is also very updated and well kept.
