The service here is appaling. Perhaps the rudest wait staff I have ever encountered. The wait for our meals was ridiculous and there was only attitude from our waitress when we enquired why we hadn’t yet received our meal an hour after ordering, when people who had ordered half an hour after we did had received their meals. There was chicken in the vegetarian risotto. Also a dead cockroach in the light fitting.
We booked in advance and were reassured could get a table to allow privacy for breastfeeding. Arrived and were allocated a table then female manager came over, wanting to move us and said we couldnt have the table. We booked for dinner at 5:30pm and the restaurant was empty and the manager said it was fully booked. We just left and went somewhere else. Total disgrace of a place! Archaic standpoints on young families with breasfeeding mums.
First time dinning here. Good seafood with great taste and presentation with friendly service. Comprehensive wine list. Great to have a place that doesnt have loud music blearing. We enjoyed the easy listening music.
This has been my favourite restaurant so far this year and I eat out three times a week at different restaurants. The food was so fresh and full of flavour. Loved the veal scallopini and bombe Alaska. Atmosphere was lovely too. A bit pricey but well worth it.
The menu was a liitle limited but what was on offer was imaginative and it made for a pleasingly difficult choice. Wait staff were upbeat, pleasant and attentive but not creepily so. We had a table of 13 and everyone was very satisfied with the food – both mains and deserts. We ended up paying just under $600 for a couple of entrees, 13 mains 10 deserts plys coffee and beers. Great value, great atmosphere and a nice crowd of patrons. No bogans.
Perhaps it was the good reviews and my expectations were too high. Everything ordered was fine, staff and restaurant are pleasant, food is of good standard. But I couldn’t find anything specially good either. Entree of arancini and bruschetta were generous, better order just one to share. Bella Bugs and Penne Pollo were fine, but similar can be had at other family-style Italian restaurants. Panna Cotta finish was fine, but a little oversized. Left feeling there was nothing that made me feel in a hurry to return.
Absolutely fantastic food, the atmosphere was great and the ladies serving us were wonderful will definitely be going back for round 2!!!
