Relatively disappointing experience. A group of 6 of us dined and shared a couple of pizzas a few pastas and salads. The overall feeling on the food was that it was very bland and lacked any of the flavour you hope to get from good Italian. Its a great spot and we liked the venue itself so will probably give it another go next time we go see a movie or do some shopping and hopefully its a little better.
Absolutely massive dining space and the modern feel takes away from the essence of Italian food, which should be experienced in a more intimate and communal setting. The lease would be hugely expensive and the quantity and quality of food was not that great. No gnocchi on the menu and no chilli oil was a massive let down. When comparing to the generosity and menu-thoughtfullness of Salt Meats and Cheese at Gasworks…Casa Cibo serves up dishes like the local Leagues Club.
