Worst sushi ever! Took sooooo long to be served or to even get a drink then once you finally try the food its awful. My partner and I left after not even finishing a plate each.
Nicely located next to the cinemas and at $3.50, seemed like a good price. The dishes themselves did seem a little small in comparison to some of the better places around. The dishes also lacked a little of the visial asthetics i have come to expect with japanese food. The service is good and the food you order come out pretty quick which is ideal for those who want a quick meal before a movie. They range is a little limited and some of the dishes seemed a little bland.
We went there on thursday night. Sushi arent fresh, they serve instant ramen and was not worth what we pay will never go back…………….
Very disappointing. Was placed near the oil cookers with overpowering smell of boiling oil. Food mediocre and service non-existant. Surprised no clear pricing list. Would advise against going. Will not return.
Meh, had higher hopes. Pretty disappointing. Small portions. Lack of variety. Ramen was bland. The location layout has potential. Just seems lazy. Ramen is basically just instant noodles, broth has no flavour.
Not impressed with the sushi here. Sushi that should be served fresh and hot is served room temperature and soggy (kakiage nigiri). Avocado rolls had brown meat residue and had to send them back. Guy at the counter asked how the food was and I was honest but he insisted that theres no way sushi on a train can ever be fresh. Will not be returning.
Don’t bother ordering anything fresh. We waited 20 minutes before giving up and leaving. Go to Sushi Train they are far superior. Staff were friendly but they need a few more cooks.
