An unfortunate let down compared to their sister-branch in Westfield Chermside. Our usual dishes does not compare to what we’ve experienced. However, the salt and pepper quail was good but did not have much of a wow factor. The pineapple fried rice was bland and the pineapple peices in it were very sour and overall was lacking in colour. The broken fried rice which was the home comfort food go-to also missed the mark by serving an unseasoned pork chop, un-pickled vegie peices and a very dry shredded pork skin. Not completely terrible experience though, the staff were nice and friendly and the service was quick. Overall, it needs to up its game to maintain the franchises status quo. I will return and give it another go once I see some more positive experiences from other uses in the coming months.
This Vietnamese joint is fitted out really well, the decor is well done. However, the food is a bit of a let down. I ordered the spicy noodle soup which was extremely mild, I love chilli in spicy things and this seemed to have none… Big servings but I did not leave satisfied at all.
