Big fan of Sporting Globe. I love the fact that I live close to this place. So many screens with sport and they are happy to put your chosen sport on a close screen if suitable. Great range of beer and typical pub favourites on the menu. Be warned, you may need to hit the gym after a session here. Can recommend the burgers and parmigiana. Wife can shop, husband can watch sport – perfect!
Was the food amazing? NoHowever It was exactly as I would expect from a sports bar and my rating is definitely based on these expectations. Ive always thought these style of venues, similar to themed restaurants, never get the package right. Sporting Globe are close with the atmosphere and bar and facilities offered however Id like to see a few more inventive and fresh food offerings. Think your typical pub offerings with burgers, parmas etc. We snacked on a few different items and all were good without being spectacular. I love my sport though and will definitely back.
