Friendly service and great food at good value. Nice little place to go for a weekday brunch. Coffee was good and everything came out quite quickly. We will be back.
Staff are super friendly and attentive, coffee is good, food is great and reasonably priced, great location. Highly recommended and a great place to go during Sunday markets
Food is amazing and quick. The staff were so lovely considering it was pouring rain and they had to bring tables in. Food is very well priced and delicious
WWhile I was wring a review one day, all of the sudden the advertisement of the restaurant pop-up on the screen. Searched its info and sounded interesting so gave it a go on one Sunday morning. It was my vege. day so I ordered a Omelette with mushroom & spinach and a flat white. They serve the coffee from the Wolff coffee roaster, taste was alright and matched my palate quite well particularly with such good pouring skill and beautiful coffee art, marks gained. Omelette came in a big portion. When I saw the big attractive yellow colour of it, my appetite was kick-started immediately. It tasted good with well balanced ingredients. No wonder this caf is so busy.
Beautiful little cafe. Staff friendly. Food was delicious. Cakes are also delIcious, the almond and orange loaf is great! Offer raw options as well.
Four of us headed here for lunch on a wet Saturday. Fortunately, hubby had rung to book as even tho the cafe shuts at 2pm, the kitchen closes at 1pm. Good to know. This seems a little excessively early, surely? Staff hadn’t prepared a table for us, but there was heaps of room so we seated ourselves. There was a mix-up with our order, so we ended up with 2 of a particular dish. This was happily rectified, and the money given back to us. Sadly, the food was —how shall I say this? Not particularly edible. My breakfast stack on Turkish with avocado, cherry tomatoes. asparagus and mushrooms was mostly left on the plate. There were so many tomatoes, but not much else. The fetta was barely to be seen, and the asparagus was in tiny bits. Even the added hash brown was half the normal size. But worst of all, the whole sloppy mixture had been shoved on top of the bread so that it was a soggy, ghastly mess, to be left on the plate. Both hubby and myself said why on earth didn’t they put the wet stuff to the side so you had lovely crunchy bread?Sis in law had expected a veggie stack but ended up with a pizza. Her mistake not theirs, but as she legitimately can’t have gluten, and hadn’t asked for gluten free, we were surprised when they said it was gluten free. Hubby and nephew had corn fritters, which as with most eating places, are actually pancakes with a bit of corn. Okay but not great. Hubby added sliced avocado and halloumi to his plate. He had a berry blended drink which tasted fine; the rest of us had coffee, tea and hot chocolate . Definitely not somewhere I would rush back to. sherryspickings.blogspot.com
Just had breakfast and a coffee and it was excellent, service was fast and pleasant. If it’s all about the coffee I would recommend this place to anyone that appreciates good well made coffee. Please note this review is for Cleveland not Redland Bay.
