With a gem like this, why travel to the city? The menu is creative, understandable and balanced.Service was friendly and attentive and flowed throughout the evening. The highlight of our meals were the entrees- crispy duck Bao buns with pickled veg and the house made pate, brioche loaf and onion relish. Thanks for a great night!
Had a lovely dinner here this evening with my wife. We had the lamb shoulder and couldn’t finish, but it was cooked to perfection as were the sides. Highly recommended.

Great food, good service and a nice selection of wines. Unfortunately the restaurant isn’t particularly pram friendly and service can be a bit slow on busy nights but otherwise quite good.
The food is well presented, though I can’t say I’m a fan of the recipe. Went there for breakfast, one of three tables and the wait time for both coffee and food was a little excessive. Was brought the wrong coffee but it was still tasty, really creamy. Chipotle pulled pork and onion rings was a massive disappointment, the rings were under cooked and the eggs over cooked. The biggest thing this place needs to do is work on their timing both in and out of the kitchen.
Very impressed with Doug and Pearl. Our meals were served promptly and beautifully presented not to mention tasted absolutely delicious! Great menu, kind staff and nice little rustic interior.
Went here for my birthday. Had a wonderful time. Sat us in the corner and it was very romantic and private. The food was delicious. Staff fantastic. Will go again.
