We had a great time at Grandvew Hotel. We had the mussels and the calamari. The meals were delicious and great size and the staff were so friendly. Lovely spot for lunch!
Not agreeing with the low score. A very pleasant back beer garden area with lovely sea breezes. Average pub food, yes, but in a good way. The high throughput means the seafood is fresh which is what you want. A small but ok range of craft beers along with the standard stuff.
Beautiful lunch sitting out on the grass with birds in the tree and view of the ocean. The moules and bug were delightful with great beer and wine to match !!!
Absolutely awesome.. So much history and awesome service… Loving the views and the upstairs restaurant is a piece of history… Will come again often…
We had a family lunch here today. Great pub and great atmosphere, however, severely understaffed. 20 minute wait in line at the bar to get a drink and we sat with our empty plates in front of us for over half an hour. The staff that were working were exceptional, perhaps management needs to rethink rosters. Food was average at best.
The good old Grandy, beautiful moreton bay views, old school pub and a decent sized beer garden. Nothing fancy but you will always be welcomed with friendly service amd the venue has a real homely feel. Food is average at best, even for pub food. Beautiful old fashioned venues though.
Needs more wait staff! Can’t fulfil coffee but drink orders. Night was off to a good start, booking at 6.00pm and ordered straight away. Food received by 6.45pm and plentiful. Finished mains and ordered 1 drink (iced coffee) at 7.05pm and waited 20 minutes, waited in line for another 5minutes to ask whether the drink was on its way and they said they’re too busy to make the drink. Had to wait for someone to cancel the order. Not enough staff to satisfy customers, especially just for 1 drink. Wouldn’t recommend purely on service.
