Unfortunately not a great experience. Our table was booked for 7pm. Upon arrival at 7pm our waitress virtually wanted to take our order immediately not allowing us time to look at the menu. Meals were ordered about 10 minutes after sitting down but we had to ask the waitress back to take our drinks order as no drinks were offered. An hour later we were still awaiting the arrival of our meals along with other restaurant goers. We could see some poor children literally falling asleep at the tables waiting for just a plate ofhot chips. My father-in-law asked the waitress how much longer it would be before we would see our meals only to be told that they were extremely busy and that our meals would come out soon as they were currently being prepared. No offer of further drinks was taken and there we sat for another 45 minutes. I had ordered the British Shepherds Pie which had no flavour in it whatsoever. I was not allowed to order a side of salad or vegetables as apparently there were supposed to be vegetables in my Pie (2 peas only). The meat inside the pie was very chewy, what little meat there was. The rest was mushrooms swimming in boiled water. At the end we decided to order tea and coffee only to be told that they didn’t have any tea at all. A European restaurant with no tea? Crazy. Unfortunately we won’t be visiting this restaurant again.
