We visited twice while in Cleveland.I had eggs benny on turkish bread with bacon the first time, it was ok. I ordered soft poached eggs but they were on the firm side. (My pet hate.) There was loads of hollandaise sauce.Everyone else’s variations of bacon and eggs looked better and they enjoyed them. They have a good range of delicious freshly squeezed juices, as well as a wide range of drinks in the fridges.Coffees were great.Next visit I had bacon and eggs on turkish with a hash brown, which was excellent. My soft poached eggs arrived soft, with plenty of bacon and a hot, crispy hashbrown. We thought all the young waitstaff were terrific too. Good service and happy to accommodate us staying a while.
Just a quick coffee and Chai stop. Nice feel, good menu selections and the coffee (not too milky) and tea were as expected and hit the spot. Clean tables, effective and courteous service all worked. Counter ordering in a cafe with outdoor seating isn’t my ideal set up but a small minus on a positive experience. We will be back.
Called in for Saturday breakfast and was quoted $5.50 for two slices of gluten free toast… $2.50 more than standard run of the mill white bread. Can they be serious about the blatant ripp off, of anyone that has a gluten intolerance ? If you are unfortunate to have this condition, avoid the One Stop Cafe in Cleveland.
Not great. Ordered Eggs Benedict for breakfast this morning (15mins ago) and didn’t realise it came with lots of crunchy egg shell. Out of 10, I can only give it a 2. The first egg on muffin was ok the second very disappointing. It wasn’t cheap, the waiting staff were apologetic but management couldn’t give a poach.
Service in the Redlands area is typically lacking however after two visits to this quaint cafe I can confidently say that the service here is both plea sent and consistent. Both servers and waitresses were friendly and had a brief chat and joke but were still professional. The food was ok nothing special but nothing to dislike either. This cafe has an excellent selection of gluten free and vegan foods which are beautifully presented and actually stored/ handled to be suitable for coeliac customers however still providing the typical menu items for the masses. Worth a visit especially if you are looking for GF !
