Nice atmosphere outside on a sunny afternoon with a coastal breeze. Went with a large group for lunch- everyone enjoyed their meals- decent quality pub food, good portions and fresh ingredients. Service was friendly, but disappointing in quality. Meals all arrived at different times, with some people finished before others arrived. No table service and the queue (bar and food, one girl serving) was ridiculous. Similarly, the table took over an hour to be cleared. This was a let down, but overall the food experience was quite pleasant.

Visited the outdoor area, under umbrellas, but the sun was welcome in a typical Queensland Winter, that is 25 degrees in the shade. We ordered a mix of couscous and lentil salads, lasagna (sand crab), moreton bay bug sliders and smoked salmon. Otherwise a broad range of steaks, tapas style shares available. All meals served were decorative in presentation and flavourful with a breezy service, but not too breezy from the nearby bay. Extensive range of drinks with, intriguingly wine from the tap, that no one was brave enough to take up. Coffees ordered were better than a normal pub bistro with rich flavour and presence beyond the usual in this environment, with a nutty taste with hints of caramel. All in all a good experience with friendly service.
