We went on a Sunday night for dinner, I had the roast of the day and it was fabulous and came with 8 different veggies. The kids meals came with a drink and ice cream which makes for happy kids.
We had a lovely mean at the bowls club. Sunday roast for $15. Excellent value. And excellent value wine. All visitors welcome.
Chicken schnitzel and veg was tasty. Partner’s bangers ‘n mash was poor. No veg except the mash and the sausages were below average.
After watching the sunset at Grassy Hill we decided to have a meal at the Bowls Club. We go there each time when we come to Cooktown. The food is always tasty and a fair price.
