After waiting 30 mins for bacon and eggs this has to be the most weirdest scrambled eggs I have ever had in my life. The texture was a mix between scrambled and poached meaning the chef either doesn’t have google or made a mistake. Save your money and go somewhere else.
We booked at Cecada for Mother’s Day this year, which turned out to be a great option. The menu is extensive and there’s something for everyone. Being located seaside of course, there is plenty of seafood on offer. The seafood pasta and fish and chips were both generous portions and very tasty. The gnocchi was also delicious! We loved that they had $5 house wines on offer and were happy with the service and turn around on meals. We would return for another group catch up for sure.
We had a lovely breakfast – eggs bene and also the breakfast bruschetta – eggs cooked perfectly! We came back for dinner. Steak and lamb shanks were delicious and we really enjoyed the live music – thank you.
As you enter the place you are welcomed by a magnificent setting.Sitting in any table you have a wonderful view of beautiful beach. Nice Open kitchen where you can see the chefs working. Very friendly staff and top quality fresh food. Good coffee. Seafood platter is to die for. Must go place if you are in collangatta.
Located on Marine Parade across the road from Coolangatta beach the Swine loves the location of Cecada. It is found in a strip of coffee shop type cafes but the Swine thought it looked the most accomadating on a warm sunny day. The Swine did coffee at Cecada but this place also offers a lunch and dinner menu. Coffee wasn’t bad but the extra hot order came out look warm. Minor quibble but the Swine finds this most disappointing. The Swine also believes that in 2016 a surcharge to use a credit card to pay the bill is just plain robbery. Boo Cecada Boo. The Swine won’t be back because of this.
