Being out of towners, I read that this place was really great for coffee, however besides the large cup sizes even for small, it was the worse coffee I had whilst I was in S.E QLD over the week. Just driving around the main streets of this lovely town I saw many more places that had perhaps better coffee.

Making coffee has become an art form and the crema on the coffee at Little Lido on Griffith street in Coolangatta is as good as you can see in the pictures thay have on their Facebook page. Decked out in red and wood the cafe has a distinctly Italian feel with a quiet somberness to the inside of the cafe. In stark contrast the tables outside the cafe were much more inviting, set up under conveniently placed umbrellas to shield patrons from the sun.A haunt for locals, people were greeted by name by the friendly staff and the service was extremely quick.Sadly I didn’t have time to try any of their meals but I will be back to sample and will definitely drop by for another coffee.

Fantastic coffee!. I’m really fussy about coffee and I discovered this gem by luck when I was getting the kids a smoothie and was delighted to find such a great spot for coffee. It’s strong and smooth, not too hot and made with care. The staff are really lovely and remembered me on my second visit despite me being just a tourist from Victoria. It became my local for 5 days and when I went to Brisbane afterwards I missed my regular coffee!

Skip the chains and grab a coffee at this place. Made with a little more love.
