This place is AMAZING! The smell of the flavours coming from this joint makes your mouth water. The best beef and gravy Poboy EVER!! Along with tasty chilli cheese fries!!!! We will be back for sure.
Great little place along the foreshore. I had the chilli dog and the cheese fries – they were delightfully gluttonous! I don’t think I’ve ever had chips with so much cheese! Do yourself a favour and head down, the food is honest, well priced and the staff are friendly. You can get a dose of the Blues while you eat your meal, too. Nothing fancy but good for the soul.
I was so excited to check this place out because of the good reviews. My friends wanted to come, but they got work so I told them I’ll check it out first and then we can all come back together. When I got my chicken gumbo though, I was broken hearted. It looked so plain and boring, like something from a can. Zero presentation. Zero care on that dish. Like, whoever made it wanted to tell me that I wasn’t welcome. And that’s what I felt. Unwelcome. People there didn’t have customer service any more than a faint smile.Anyway, I’m so glad I came to check this place out alone first before bringing a whole bunch of people to disappoint. P.S. I had beignets to go, and they were gooooood!!!
Incredible food here!The Chilli Fries are something else entirely, but the entire menu is magnificent! From the Oyster Poboy (their recommendation) to the Gumbo, cannot recommend enough!Plus the boys there are super friendly and always up for a chat!
