Entrance impression was a little tired. The service was friendly and fast. The food came out quickly. The staff were accommodating and swapped out the chips for a salad on the pulled beef burger. We got a rocky road cheesecake to take away. It was amazing. Not the normal taste more like a mousse cake. Can’t wait to try something else.

The space is really beautiful and open- love the aesthetics and the themes! The food is average and nothing overly special. Service is once again average, no complaints though. Nice (often) quiet place to visit right next to the water.

Well something new in a restaurant I haven’t come across before. I almost choked to death on a fish bone in my mash potato that came with my lamb shank. I couldn’t cough it up had to reach down my throat & physically pull a very sharp fish bone out that was embedded in my throat. 50 mm long. The staff offered me a glass of water , 2 hours later I’m still very uncomfortable & having difficulty swallowing. Now about the food well it was a rather nicely cooked lamb shank on mashed spud with a few carrots , no greens a very simple meal . To be fair it’s a day time coffee shop cafe not a proper restaurant.Service ? well before the fish bone I sat waiting 20 mins for a glass of wine then had to go back to the counter & ask for it. Some confusion there .How does a fish bone get into mash potato ? Well that’s a worry , lucky for them Im not a vexatious litigant . Maybe I should have called an Ambulance & gone to hospital but I have better things to do. Should they have given me a refund ? Well they could have offered , I would have said don’t worry but they should have offered .Would I recommend you eat here ? Well if you are working on your boat here & your galley is not serviceable then yes you could eat here , but I wouldn’t bother traveling to get here It would be safer to go to maccas or get a pizza. Now I’m basing this on dinner only . I believe they do great coffee , breakfast & lunches. My throat still hurts !!! Can’t believe this happened to me. Mike

Had breakfast there & enjoyed the veggie breakkie. Service was good. Only feedback is the waiter dressed up as a pirate was a neat idea however feel that he was too loud & over the top yelling in the restaurant when people just want to come & enjoy a peaceful Sunday breakkie.
