Amazing food.. Had my 50th birthday there last year, the staff were friendly and helpful, chefs went above and beyond to make sure the food was on time and delicious. thank you for an amazing time. Love the atmosphere and surroundings
There’s no doubt that chef Jason Redman is talented. It’s an excellent fillet, succulent and tender, complemented by an amazing beurre blanc, containing sixteen ingredients, we’re told, its complexity stamped with an intensity of the classically trained. Our waiter tells us that some customers order the sauce to take away, and it’s not hard to see why! The snapper, surprisingly, had been prepared with an egg wash, baked rather than grilled, but it is beautifully presented on top of a crunchy fennel and chilli basil salad, accompanied by a red pepper and chardonnay sauce.
Diana. What an unexpected suprise we had when we eventually found Waterlife after driving past Dreamworld & into a kind of industrial area, we were about to give up at the road end then we saw it right on the water (like a fairytale mirage!!) surrounded by a fleet of various types of water craft, swaying to millionaire type of craft! So here we sat admiring the view on a comfy lounge with cushions feeling right at home with pooch in tow ( who incidently was also made very welcome) We partook of some great wine followed by snapper which came with a warm nicose salad, all very scrumptious I have to say.In fact the only problem I had was the coffee, it was Merlo & not made too well unfortunately. The ambiance of the setting more than made up for that along with the charming wait staff, who were prompt & friendly in an unobtrusive way. What a great venue for a romantic evening this would be, a hidden gem. I dont think they do dinner though except for functions. Imagine arriving by boat here for a wedding reception sounds great to me!
Wow !!.  I attended a wedding and cocktail reception at Waterlife Restaurant & Bar last night, and was utterly blown away. While the wedding guests numbered in the hundred, the venue offered an intimate atmosphere with incredible food and service. One of South Queensland’s best kept secrets this restaurant site is on the marina. As the wedding guests watched the Bride and Groom were married in a beautiful service on the back deck of a luxury yacht. We gazed over the water watching the sunset as the warm and friendly staff served exquisite finger foods. A back drop of nature’s bounty, stunning pleasure craft, and a variety of comfortable and inviting conversation corner seating, twinkling fairy lights, sparkling table centre pieces and flickering flaming torches burning along the gangway. Everything was so inviting and comfortable that the atmosphere was magical. If you are planning any sort of special event, I highly recommend getting in touch with the team at Waterlife Restaurant and Bar.
