I can think of two words I would hope the staff at Otoole’s learn the meaning of. Courtesy and manners. OK, I know it can be a real pain having to work Friday nights
Found it actually funny, but horrible at the same time. The food was probably McDonald’s quality, but the prices were low. I think they have a captured audience out there and behave the way they like, charge whatever they like, and dish up poor quality. Just do not make eye contact with their security guards.
What a strange bunch of people. We tookfriend who does not drink for their 30th birthday there. Security staff came over after about 20 minutes (after we had ordered and paid for meals) and told him he had been ‘put on water’ and should leave. We explained’he is always on water since he does not drink and if they asked the bar staff they would find out’. The security then grabbed Mark and started marching him to the door. We all went out and said if he was being thrown out as the birthday guest we were all happy to leave and they should refund the meals since we had not received them and we would go across the road. They refused so we all left. Has left a very bad taste in our mouths. We went across the road and the restaurant told us the security staff have a bad reputation and the pub manager is hopeless.
4 of us with food poisoning. Thanks O’Malleys. Was my fault though. A friend said it was not good, but I insisted we all go since it was local. Rang to tell them the news and was treated like a liar.
I haven’t been to O’Tooles for quite awhile now. Thought we would go up and have lunch and a drink on account of it being Australia Day. I have to say our meals were absolutely delicious and great value at $12 considering they completely filled our plates. Will be sure to visit again soon.

My partner and I always come down here, the meals are well priced and the plates are packed with food. And the service is always lovely. Definitely will be seeing our face plenty more times we love coming here.
