Ordered a gluten free grilled cheese for my ceoliac daughter, she got half way through when the chef came and took it back after realizing they made it with normal bread. Walked out not paying for anything! Not happy!
Weird. Whose idea was it to bake scrambled eggs with cheese on top of mushrooms and avocado? Who likes mushroom juice sog? The other breakfast was slightly more normal and very European – cold meats with scrambled eggs – though surprising for those not familiar with it. The service and the iced coffee was ok but not enough to offset the weird.
Pricey little cafe! We went for breaky here and the breakfast menu was very basic- no exciting breakfast items. The food was fine (ordered a toastie and partner ordered eggs on toast) but was quite expensive considering the simplicity of what we ordered.
This place is always busy so we thought we would go and check it out! Breakfast was average, I got poached eggs with toast, downfall is that they don’t actually toast the bread properly.
Came to this cafe when another cafe was jam packed. I had no idea why this place did not have people lining up out the door! Meal was quick, well sized for the price and the wait staff were very efficient – put my order in and within seconds I could hear the coffee machine going and and the bacon sizzling. Coffee was near perfect (not over strained and the perfect temperature) and was easily the best I’ve had in Port Douglas.
