The best we found in Port Douglas! This place is as good as any restaurant in Melbourne or Sydney. Our experience eating in Port Douglas has generally been good food but very overpriced. At Chapter One we felt the opposite, we were getting higher quality food for a fair price. Easily the highest quality meal in Port Douglas and worth the short drive out of town. They specialise in high quality beef and we were lucky enough to preview a 7+ Steak that melted in the mouth and was one of the best lve had anywhere. The chef here knows his stuff and the smoker and menu didn’t disappoint. Matched with a beautiful wine list we really enjoyed how well we were looked after.
