Busy on a Monday night but we got our order pretty quickly. I was really impressed with these fish and chips. We were offered the option of crumbed, battered or grilled fish and went with crumbed. Chips were delicious and crispy and piping hot, the crumbed fish was cooked perfectly and the seafood was generous in size. Yum!
If I could give a zero I would!I’m from Melbourne and our fish and chips is nothing compared to Qld fish and chips, so I was very keen to get my hands on some whilst in PD. we were recommended this place by the hotel we stayed at and we wish we hadn’t listened.So much oil the batter was falling off the fish. The potato cakes were just oil, it was all over our hands and if you squeezed the potato cakes it literally dropped out.Dim sims were cheap home brand supermarket ones Even the chips were shit! You expect lovely crispy battered fish and chips and all we got was a box of oil! Absolutely disgusting food it’s completely put me off! Shame the locals would recommend such squalor!
