There’s not much to say about this place – I feel like I’ve been to exactly this chinese restaurant in every city I’ve ever visited.  Having said that, there were no complaints about the quality of the meals ordered – Seafood Nest and sweet and sour pork.  Handy to have a bottle shop a very short distance away and a reasonable corkage charge.  Nice enough if you want something different from the many pub/cafe meals on offer in Port Douglas.

Great service and nice surroundings. Very good old school chinese food which can at times be reassuring in these days of avant garde Asian cuisine.

The decor was nice, the staff friendly and efficient . The food bland , tasteless although generous portions. I expect that when the menu offers a chef specialty at $27 dollars I expect Angels to sing when I taste it. – not the bland rubbish I was served where the most exotic Chinese vegetable was broccoli. This restaurant has tailored its dishes to suit its local take away clientele – it’s highway robbery to charge $27 dollars for something that I would expect would be rejected in a supermarket food court.

Went to this restaurant after our transfer guide rrcommended it. The service was very friendly and efficient. We ordered gyoza for entree (delicious flavours) followed by fried duck with plum sauce (generous serving) and salt and pepper squid (also generous serving ) beautiful flavours. Would definitely go back !
