Benedict Sauce is not Benedict Sauce. Benedict sauce on the so-called Eggs Benedict tasted and looked as though it were made from a premix powder or some other faux sauce. It’s not hard to tell the differenceCome on guys, this is really not acceptable. I could whip this up at home in about 2 mins also, so there’s no value in paying cafe prices for the same thing.Benedict sauce can be made from egg yolk, butter and a dash of lemon juice. That’s what Benedict sauce is. So-called Benedict sauce which doesn’t include these key ingredients is in my opinion misleading.
