There’s not a lot of choice at Currimundi, however this café has most of what you could need or want. The coffee isn’t great, my husband wasn’t really a fan of his flat white however I don’t think this is their speciality. I had a freshly made juice and really appreciated that I was able to add an additional fruit to the detox juice to make it a little more appealing! They didn’t charge extra which was a welcome surprise. My juice was beetroot, carrot, celery, ginger, apple, orange and I added pineapple. It was really good, perhaps a little warm, but tasty all the same. I also tried one of the raw vegan treats. The snickers – it wasn’t too badly priced, and was really quite delicious. A little heavy on the coconut oil in the chocolate but apart from that, really nice.I liked this spot – perhaps not for coffee or atmosphere (it’s more like a corner store vibe rather than a café) but the staff were all very welcoming and friendly.

For $15.50 the seafood combo with a drink was a decent feed however the portion was small and the ‘combo’ of seafood was not a good variety. The wait can be 30 minutes to an hour at lunch and they don’t take eftpos. Nevertheless, the great location and crispy chips was worth it!

Ordered fish and chips and a burger and ended up with the wrong order and undercooked and soggy chips. The food was also expensive so I expected better quality.

Expensive cheap food. No love and effort put into the food. Poor service. Such a shame as it’s in a prime spot. Won’t return and don’t recommend. Bring your own food and use the handy BBQs.
