My partner and I had breakfast here. Beautiful view and great food. I had the smashed avo on toast and added smoked salmon. Just the right amount of food- I left satisfied and not uncomfortably full. My partner had eggs on toast and added sausages and avocado, and he could not fault his meal. We will return on our next visit to the Gold Coast.
Came here for breakfast. We ordered eggs benedict with smoked salmon and smash avocado with toast. The food came out quick and was okay. The price was cheaper than other places, probably because this is a surf club. But the view was beautiful. I think it’s the only restaurant locating that close to the beach where you can enjoy your meal while watching the amazing long coast.
We dined mid-week, early (5.30pm) and the restaurant was booked out. We were lucky enough to be able to sit outside on the deck which was my preference as it has the most wonderful views. It was a little chilly however they had heaters on so we were very comfortable.The meal deal of two meals for $20 (I think) was excellent value. My husband chose the steak and I had the chicken schnitzel. Both were really good, service was extremely quick and portion sizes were great, especially for the price. We may not have looked close enough, but they didn’t seem to have a lift so we had to carry our pram up the stairs. The place is quite small so be sure to book if you want a specific spot or time to dine. An absolutely spectacular location, decent meals, good drink specials and friendly staff. Definitely one of the best surf clubs we’ve been to.
This place has some wonderful views of Currumbin beach and the northern Gold Coast in the distance. I shared the seafood platter with my dining partner. It was a massive platter, comprising a very nice range of seafood, including bug, crab, large prawns, mussels, oysters, flathead and calarami. I probably didn’t need to order the side of chips. The only negative today was the limited wine menu at the bar.
