Our favourite local cafe in Logan. Feels like dropping in to visit family (the ones you love visiting).Great food, ambience and great for brunch, lunch and dinner!
Myself and some friends came here for a quick bite and a drink for lunch and found a wonderful little experience. The area is designed beautifully inside with a little courtyard area outside so it seems to transform you to another area. The menu is pretty long as well but we just ordered some hot drinks and a bowl of chips. I ordered a pot of tea and a small coffee for an average and reasonable price. There was only a couple other people there so everything came out fast and the service was good. The drinks were delicious but the chips were exactly perfect with a crisp finish and great sauce.
I ordered French toast and my boyfriend ordered the full monty, his only critique was consistent seasoning all around. His thickshake was delicious and extremely generous. My French toast was swimming in maple syrup which unfortunately made my toast a little soggy and could easily be misinterpreted as undercooked. Also because of this my ice cream melted right in with the syrup therefore I could not eat it before it melted. Easily fixable but still delicious with a generous serving of strawberries.
Have been a regular customer since early 2000’s. Frequently attend with work colleagues. In the past, always good food, nice atmosphere and friendly service. Establishment really being let down by female waitress who is nothing short of rude. Very obvious on last two visits. Serving customers seems to be an inconvenience to this staff member. Once can be forgiven. Second occasion on my most recent visit this week makes it a behaviour. Sadly time to vote with my feet.
Went in here on 4th jan 2016 at 7.10 pm. More than half of the tables were empty and not even set. Yet apparently the kitchen was to busy to serve us until an hour later with the distinct impression given that they didn’t want us to wait. How did they know that we might have only wanted coffee and cake. We left and ate elsewhere. When we got home and looked in the local paper there was an add for the cafe….Why oh why would you waste money advertising for customers when those that walk in are clearly not welcome. We will not be returning.
We visited not long ago for breakfast with a interstate friend. Whilst the food was delicious we were very disappointed by the service. They do not have a high chair for little ones and we were made to feel not welcome due to having a child. There was an older lady serving not sure what her position was but she was not at all customer service focused. Whilst I would love to return to try again I simply won’t be due to them not being child friendly.
