We’ve been visiting Birches Restaurant for years, sometimes to celebrate special occasions or milestones or just for a quick bite to eat or coffee on our way home. Either way we are always welcomed warmly, seated and attended to quickly by Birches lovely waitstaff. To me the food is something very special. It is always abundant, inventive and delicious. Birches restaurant is in an old Queenslander perched on the curve of the road at Mt Mee. In the summer it is nice to enjoy a meal on the veranda overlooking the Sunshine coast with views to the bay. In the winter you can get cosy by the fire place inside. It is well worth the scenic drive up the mountain even if it is just for the coffee.
Food was sensational and decent sized portions for the price. Would definitely recommend and be visiting again. Staff were really lovely also!
