Visited on Thursday for a late lunch. My partner loved his steak and I thoroughly enjoyed my ham, cheese and tomato toastie. The iced coffees with cream were great. The service was friendly and helpful and the ducks were sweet entertainment
Nice little place with a very pleasant outlook. Initial service seemed quite friendly and the table on the veranda fine. Lunch orders taken, we then waited what seemed like forever for the meals to arrive. This might have been acceptable due to the volume of customers, however, desserts came from the cold cabinet and needed no preparation. Although desserts and drinks were ordered together, they came out in dribs and drabs. The food was good and the owners were friendly enough although the other staff might need a bit more training. The place was fine provided you have plenty of time on your hands.
