Went here for dinner friday night. I ordered the pumpkin salad with dressing on the side. Double checked she had it down as on the side…. even then still it arrived covered in dressing. Waitress was happy to redo it though. Food was pretty good. Nothing amazing though
Cheap but bland food. The new decor looks fabulous, nice and fresh looking. Staff were polite however the food was not flavoursome. I would prefer to pay a couple of dollars extra to have food that at least taste like home cooked.
Great.food, great service. We went to the newly renovated Downs Hotel recently for a family members bday and most impressed with the renovation, really tasteful and the wooden bar is classic. The food was really good and so reasonably priced. We were there on a Thursday lunch time and was bustling. The Publican was excellent and really nice to see how well he was treating his staff. We had kids with us and made felt welcome, great kids room. Highly recommend and we will be back for sure.
This newly renovated pub is the place to be!! Not only is it looking swish with the modern yet rustic look, but the menu is very affordable, food is very tasteful, and the service was cheery!! With a TAB, Bar, Resturant, private function room & Kids Area (+ separate indoor Smoking area for those cold winter nights) this sure is the place to be when your heading out next. Well done to the Downs Hotel !!
