Gorgeous coffee, best I’ve had in Brisbane and usually a new speciality beanto try. Food is simple and delicious, something on the menu for every diet and avo toast stacked high. Brodie’s a great guy, and the vibe here is warm and relaxed. Can’t think of a better morning than sitting on the front deck sipping tea while the world passes by. Will be back again and again.

Best coffee in Brisbane.I’ve been to most of the best rated cafes in Brisbane and Shawty’s consistently makes the best coffee by far.Brodie strives to always find the best coffee beans from the best roasters from around the country. Most cafe’s simply order from the same roasters repeatedly, but Brodie gets the best beans wherever they may be found. There’s a always a great selection of food, I’m especially fond of the french ham + cheese pesto scrolls. It’s a great atmosphere with excellent un-rushed service from people who actually care about coffee.

Have to give this coffee shop top scoring as everything we received was pleasing. First up the coffee, flat white double shot just perfect. Actually the flavors resembled single origin (unsure if it was as I didn’t do the ordering. ) Wow those flavors & notes in the brew just blew me away. The accompanying toasties though simple were bang on in flavor also. Not to mention chock full of haloumi & avocado with a delightful relish. Loved the retro cottage & wall art too plus friendly staff

When I read some info from the Beanhunter, then I realised that this caf was the number fourth on the list of best cafes in 2016. This information reminded me the episode when I explored this caf at the end of August. Honestly, this caf gave me the feeling of peaceful, nice set-up and cosy vibe. Service was friendly and I could see the serious attitude of the barista when he prepared my flat white. Coffee came with a attractive colour of cup and latte art. Hero was the Italiano toasties, the spiciness from the salami, creamy feeling from the mozzarella, sourness from the napoletana sauces and the freshness from the rocket weaved the unforgettable experience for this light brekkie. Well, this caf deserves highly recommendation and thumb-up.
