With 30mins before boarding at 8am, and being up since 4:30am, I needed a coffee. Waiting 15mins in line, I ordered a small soy flat white with an extra shot. I was told – no, we only have medium. Thinking, they had run out of small cups, I said that was fine. However, while waiting for my coffee, I noticed that they were serving Staff small coffees. Staff are entitled to complimentary small coffees. I don’t have an issue with that. But why are customers not able to order a small, when it’s ON THE MENU????I went around to take a picture of the menu, and was told – No pictures are allowed in the airport.I’m pretty sure I’m allowed to take pictures at an airport. I have done it numerous times. I’m sure the fabulous displays at Changi requesting ppl take pictures and tag on social media are all entrapment. I say – I’m sure I’m allowed to take picturesCoffee lady – No, it’s a security issue. Well… I KNOW we can’t take pictures within security and customs, but we were in the lounge, in a public area. Bar Roma has no website, nor customer feedback forms. Obviously no one there cares

Our flight was delayed so we decided to have a light meal at Bar Roma. I thought it offers authentic Italian food, so I ordered a lasagne and my friend ordered a Cajun chicken burger. Both dishes looked really impressive but not tasty at all. We were disappointed. On the other hand, the hot wedges with gruyere cheese melt, served with sweet chilli and sour cream was fantastic! I would just recommend to get this snack. The staff was really friend with a sense of humour. weekendnotes.com
Forget the food here have to agree with previous reviewers on that one (it is an airport) so maybe like we did have a drink & eat on the plane or in Qantas loungeoh the sweets were OK
I haven’t even received my meal and I can already tell it is going to be super average after being treated very rudely and being advised that they do not have any multi grain or wholemeal bread. $20 for standard eggs what a laugh.
