Very nice location and setting the decor is nice and the staff very active and polite the kids chips n squid and fish n chips was prity good I had souvlaki lamb it wasn’t the best but not the worst I’ve had I will re visit and have seafood next time and update the review in coming weeks but definitely worth a visit guys it’s probably the classiest restaurant at eagle heights if you have a date or special occasion give it a go nice lighting and candles and good service all helps

George’s Paragon is a great place to eat on Tamborine Mountain, and in a great location for lunch or dinner. The chicken dishes are delicious and the steak was amazing. Fast service and the option for takeaway is great. Overall great choice for lunch or dinner for a day out on the mountain.

Food poisoning and raw seafoodI’d been to both the Brisbane and Sanctuary Cove George’s restaurants before so was expecting good things, how wrong was I.My wife and I were with friends and ordered the Barouti which was fish and other seafood in a nice sauce. Unfortunately, $83 later, when the meal was almost finished we found the scallopsand bug was not cooked and hard to see this when smothered with the sauce.   We raised the issue on the night but nothing was offered, i.e. fresh meal, refund etc. Unfortunately for my wife and I this was followed by a night we’d both rather forget with manytrips to the loo and very upset stomachs.The following week after a few calls to the restaurant to discuss further the manager called me back. She was very apologetic and sorry for how the night panned out. Wantingto help resolve the issue she offered to send us a voucher for 2 complementarymeals. As you can guess I was a little hesitant but gave our address detailshoping to have a better experience and restore the faith in Georges.Sadly, the vouchers never came. If I could only give a ZERO star rating!
