I found the decor really beautiful and reading about all the effort and design that went into making the crockery to give us the ultimate cioccolato experience is wonderful! The dessert and drinks selection is extensive. I tried the death by chocolate Cronut and have to say that it was made really well except I don’t think one person can eat it on their own. Also I asked for it to be in milk rather than dark chocolate. The atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon is quiet and relaxed. I would like to come back in the night to see the vibe. Great customer service!!! A must try.

I looked at the menu when this place first opened and didn’t try it because it was so expensive. Came with a friend this week to find the prices have been reviewed and it’s much more reasonable. Tried the ice cream and the cronut – both were very nice and it cost around $10 for the 2 of us. Good system with the call button to place an order, etc. Stops the wait staff hovering and trying to guess when you need them. Definitely a good date night dessert stop.

Excellent little cafe to meet up with friends. Classic setup and style. Large menu to choose from for both food and drink. However they only make sweet foods. The hardest bit is deciding what to order, but really you can’t go wrong. The Lemon meringue cake and Mint mocha are to die for. Would definitely return again.

After numerous visits to cioccolato i am undecided. Some of the dishes are fabulous others are very average. The ganache cake and the cherry ripe cake are amazing! The coconut cake, the lemon meringue and the sticky date were very very average. The meringue had not set and was inedible. The sundaes are huuuuge and hard to get wrong! The jaffa hot chocolate and vanilla tea were lovely. The turkish hot chocolate… not so much. The restaurant setup is bizarre. The massive cocoa tree in the middle makes it difficult to hold a conversation and limits the number of possible seats, making for some very long wait times to get seated. Some days you are waiting outside for a good half hour to get a table

Ordered a chocolate souffl. Received a small chocolate cake, or maybe it was an overcooked fondant. Not sure if ordering was stuffed up, or if the restaurant doesn’t know what a souffl is, or hopes their customers don’t know what a souffl is. Anyway, wasn’t great, could do better at home with a box of cake mix from the supermarket. Orders for four people took so long to come out that it wasn’t worth questioning the ‘souffl’. Overpriced food and tacky interior. Not worth it.

I was pleasantly surprised. Ordered 2 coffees which were actually good and we got the churros to share. They were really good. Will be back :).

Waiting waiting waiting. 3 friends ordered drinks. Still waiting 25 mins later. At least 5 staff on, most doing nothing. When our drinks finally arrived, no apology and they weren’t that great anyway…not impressed.
